Woodhall Primary School welcomes children from families living close to the school and beyond. It offers large, light classrooms and a warm and inviting learning environment. The school caters for children from 2 to 11 years of age, with up to 60 children in each main school year group. Our Early Years Foundation Stage classrooms for our youngest children are spacious and fun and offer a separate outside area.  We are able to accommodate up to 52 Nursery children over morning and afternoon sessions. These children learn and play alongside their peers making the transition to full time school in Reception as smooth as possible.

Our older children have a range of top class facilities including a hall and studio as well as a large area to play and learn outside.  The children enjoy using the laptops and iPads in their classrooms and we offer swimming and instrument tuition in key stage 2. Our class names are all woodland trees and our ‘houses’ are named after local halls. The children are awarded achievement points for excellence that build to individual and team awards.  We enjoy sharing individual successes in Friday’s Achievement Assembly and we award a cup weekly to the class with the best attendance.  We are able to offer a Breakfast and an After School Wrap Around Club at very reasonable rates. There are also a range of free of charge after school activity clubs that change termly.  We value visits out and visitors in and believe these add to an engaging and exciting curriculum.  Wherever possible, we try and draw on local experience and expertise and we are also keen to get involved in local community events and activities.
